The St. Matthews Community is coming together for a week long fundraiser for Officer Nick Wilt and his family. Officer Wilt was seriously injured in the line of duty during the tragedy that occurred at Old National Bank on April 10th in Downtown Louisville after recently graduating from the police academy on March 31st.

The St. Matthews Police Department is proud to present National Night Out, a community building event connecting the police department to the community. National Night Out will be the kick off event for Wilt Week and will feature a collection booth as well as touch a trucks, enter to win prizes, inflatables, free snow cones, free bbq samples, a dunking booth, tethered balloon rides, a bicycle rodeo, jaws of life demonstration, and more!

Texas Roadhouse restaurants in Louisville will be donating 100% of their profits for the day to the LMPD Foundation in honor of Officer Nick Wilt. Dine-in or carry out at any of the above locations starting at 3:00 PM.

Various Jeep clubs from across the state and beyond are banding together for an exciting competition! Featuring music, food, and more!
Texas Roadhouse, also in St. Matthews Gateway, will be giving 100% of the nightly profits directly to the fundraising efforts and a collection booth will be on site.

A community event with 100% of profits going to the fundraiser. This event will feature a Donate to Dine (free dinner for a donation), Boots vs. Badges Softball game, Home Run Derby, Dunking Booth, Face Painting, inflatables, Free Family Photos, and a silent auction!

If classic cars are more your jam ride over to Mall St. Matthews and enjoy Hot Wheels for Wilt, run by a local classic car association. Mall vendors will be setting up booths and all are welcome, a donation booth will also be available on site!

The week will culminate in the St. Matthews Potato Festival with a check presentation made to the Wilt family representative at 5:00 PM on the main stage. Donations will be accepted at the Independence Bank booth leading up to the check presentation.
